Monnett Road Baptist Church was founded in 1983 by Pastor Ronnie L. Kimble.

January 1st, 2020, The torch was passed on to Pastor Chris Vance to lead as Senior Pastor of Monnett Road Baptist Church. Pastor Vance was an auto mechanic for 22 years prior to surrendering to his call to preach in 2017. God burdened his heart and led him to serve at Monnett Road Baptist Church. Under the leadership of God and Pastor Kimble, Pastor Vance was chosen to lead this church into the future. Where so many churches today are getting away from the Fundamentals, Pastor Vance plans to stick to those fundamentals that was entrusted to us through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Beliefs
God's Word - We believe the Holy Bible, containing the Old and New Testament Scriptures was written by men divinely inspired by the Holy Spirit.  It is the literal Word of God, perfectly penned without error and preserved for the English speaking people in the authorized King James translation.

Salvation
We believe salvation is free to all, and that nothing prevents the salvation of the vilest sinner on earth, except his own inherent depravity and willful rejection of Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross of calvary.  Salvation is only through our belief in the death, burial, and resurrection of our God's only Son, Jesus Christ.

Baptism
We believe that Christian Baptism is by full immersion in water: that it is a Commandment of God, and is a public acknowledgement of our acceptance of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
